The Conestoga Program

To use the wagon wheel analogy, a wheel needs a strong hub to keep it stable and a place for the spokes to attach. At the end of the spokes, the outside of the wheel carries the load of the wagon and moves it along. Without a stable hub, the wheel wobbles and doesn't run smoothly. Likewise, without insufficient connecting spokes to evenly distribute the weight of the wagon. It doesn't function well or go very far. The Conestoga Program is like the wheel, it provides the framework. The hub, however, is the individual or family. And like the figure below, the spokes of the wagon wheel are all the partners who are involved in making an individual or families life better. The spokes (partners) provide services, program, and assistance which can help the individual or family achieve their goals. But without the framework of thoughtful collaboration, communication, and knowledge the wagon of life can get weak. The Conestoga Program has created an innovative model framework, and with our partners, we expect the following outcomes.
